The President of the International Biathlon Union Anders Besseberg has highly evaluated the readiness of Khanty-Mansyisk for holding World Cup Final. He noted that on the today’s meeting with the Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova. IBU President said that these competitions are also an important test before the World Championship 2011. He noted that all the reconstruction and modernizing works of the stadium and the infrastructure in whole of the Nordic Ski Center are made perfectly. «We discussed the variants of improving the quality of TV pictures during Sprint competitions as this kind of sport is difficult to broadcast. In future we will decide this problem with the international broadcasters», – said Anders Besseberg.

     Natalia Komarova stressed that during the World Cup hosts tried to create comfortable conditions for accommodation, training and cultural spiritual enrichment of athletes, fans, representatives of technical service and mass media teams: «The region has the great experience in organizing international competitions. It gives us the opportunity to calculate and avoid unexpected situations in advance. I hope that this was felt by all the participants of the sports festival».

     The Governor gave IBU President as a memory about the region a bronze diminutive composition «Family of mammoths» which in her opinion symbolizes the ancient origin of Ugra. In turn Anders Besseberg handed Natalia Komarova a souvenir - a figure of shooting ski man which will remind her of the biathlon battles in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
